F-Translate Privacy Policy

F-Translate is an independent browser extension that translates message drafts in Fiverr Inbox before the user sends them. It is not affiliated with Fiverr International Ltd.

Data processed

• Message text: only the draft text the user requests to translate, together with source and target language settings.
• Extension identifier and license state: a randomly generated installation identifier, quota usage, selected plan, and expiry time.
• Preferences stored locally: enabled state, target language, translation delay, license key, and quota display data.

How data is used

Message text is transmitted to the F-Translate API and its translation processor solely to return the requested translation. F-Translate does not use message text for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, or purposes unrelated to translation.

Storage and retention

Message text is not intentionally stored by F-Translate after the translation response is returned. License and quota records are retained only as needed to provide free limits and paid access. Extension preferences remain in Chrome local storage until the extension or its data is removed.

Payments

Paid passes are processed by a hosted checkout provider. The extension does not receive or store full payment-card details.

Sharing

F-Translate does not sell user data. Data is transmitted only to service providers required to provide translation, payment, and infrastructure services, and only for those purposes.

Security

Requests use HTTPS. Access is limited to the Fiverr Inbox pages and the F-Translate API hosts declared in the extension manifest.

User choices

Users can disable translation in the popup, avoid requesting translation, clear the extension's local storage, or uninstall the extension.
